Magneticat won the Montana Reining Cowhorse Derby and placed in the Utah Reining Cowhorse Derby and made the finals in several other derbies during 2016. He has won over 11,000 in the NRCHA in 2016. Magneticat is sired by Metallic Cat who is the hottest stallion in the cutting horse business. Metallic Cat was the 2010 NCHA Open Horse of the Year and has Lifetime earnings of $637,711. Metallic Cat is also in the NCHA Hall of Fame, among other impressive achievements.
Magneticat is the oldest foal out of the outstanding mare Wanda Rey. Wanda Rey has NCHA earnings of $90,000. She is a daughter of Dual Rey and is out of the great mare Stella Starlight who won the NCHA Non Pro Open Futurity and placed 5th in the NCHA Open Futurity in the same year. Stella Starlight won over $310,000 and has produced foals that have earned over $522,000.
